Aboutthe role
We’re hiring an Instructional Multimedia Designer to join our Customer & Product Content Creation Team. You will innovate at the intersection of AI technology and video, crafting multimedia content that elevates customer experiences. Your role spans copywriting, hands‑on video production, educational theory, and design to produce engaging videos with Synthesia’s platform, collaborating with internal teams and external clients.
What you will be doing- Craft video content using Synthesia’s AI platform, marrying instructional design with cutting‑edge technology.
- Participate in the end‑to‑end content development process, from concept through scripting, storyboarding, production, to final delivery.
- Use multimedia elements such as graphics and animations to elevate instructional value and visual appeal.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to understand learning objectives, identify content gaps, and tailor video solutions that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Conduct needs assessments to refine learning objectives and content strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in instructional design and multimedia technology, continuously enhancing our content offerings.
- Measure the impact of video content through engagement metrics and learner feedback, iterating for improvement.
- Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
- Solid understanding of instructional design concepts and learning principles.
- Proven track record in designing multimedia instructional materials, with a portfolio that showcases your video content development skills.
- Exceptional ability to convey complex information through engaging, clear video narratives and effective learning experiences.
- Expertise in using multimedia software and video editing tools, alongside a keen understanding of AI technologies and their potential.
- A creative and analytical mindset, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A background in marketing, advertising, or copywriting is a significant advantage.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- A passion for staying ahead of the curve and applying new methods and ideas to continuously improve your work and customer experiences.
