For Summer 2026, Derby Theatre and Northern Stage will produce the cult classic,
Little Shop of Horrors – the deliciously dark, delightfully tongue‑in‑cheek musical that’s charmed audiences for over 40 years.

Packed with unforgettable songs like Skid Row (Downtown), Suddenly Seymour, and Feed Me (Git It), this outrageous musical promises killer tunes, unexpected laughs and larger‑than‑life characters.

We are looking for energetic, talented and versatile Actor Musicians to join the cast of this production of Little Shop of Horrors
. You must be able to play at least one and preferably two of the following instruments: guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, brass – sax, trumpet, trombone. Self‑tapes may also be required. Closing date for submissions is 12pm on Friday 7th November.

In Derby from 7th April 2026, and then moving to Newcastle on Saturday 2nd May 2026.

At Northern Stage from 8th – 23rd May 2026.

At Derby Theatre from 30th May – 20th June 2026.

We positively encourage applications from performers of all heritages, ethnicities, physical ability and genders.

Mid‑twenties, insecure, naïve, put‑upon, he is the florist’s clerk turned hero. Above all, he’s a sweet and well‑meaning little man. Besotted with Audrey.
