Volunteer Event Videographer - Capture Inspiring Run Moments

We are looking for a Volunteer Videographer to capture footage of RSPCA participants taking part in the Great North Run this September! The RSPCA’s vision is to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion. Volunteers play an essential role in our animal welfare work.

Our volunteer videographers are vital to every event, ensuring we capture every moment to share with current and future fundraisers. We need someone to capture wide‑range video footage of participants in running, cycling, trekking, swimming and our Team Animal cheerers.

Event Videographer in the RSPCA Events Team.

• Produce inspiring videos that encourage people to join the RSPCA in future running events.
• Capture the atmosphere of cheering stations and encourage viewers to volunteer.
• Compile a portfolio of videos for promotion on various platforms.
• Share the videos taken with participants as a snapshot of their achievement.

• Keen videographer (amateur or professional) with your own equipment.
• Ready to support the charity and share the video you take for current and future promotions.
• Understand that many events do not have animals in attendance; you will be filming people in challenge events.

• Full support from the RSPCA Events Team.
• Be part of Team Animal and meet new people.
• Add the videos you capture to your portfolio.
• Get an RSPCA t‑shirt to wear on the day.

• Be a vital part of ensuring the success of the challenge event.

Volunteer roles are subject to an informal interview and introductory period. You will be asked to provide contact details for two referees. Before volunteering you must complete our simple online Health & Safety assessment.
