Events Photographer (RSPCA Events Photographer - Great North Run)

Available from 13 September 2026.

We are looking for Volunteer Photographers to capture a wide range of photos of RSPCA participants taking part in the Great North Run in September. They will document running, cycling, trekking, swimming events, and our Team Animal cheerers.

• Produce inspiring images that encourage participation and volunteerism for the next RSPCA running event.
• Capture the atmosphere of cheering stations to motivate viewers to volunteer in future events.
• Create a portfolio of images for use in promotion across various platforms.
• Share images with participants as a snapshot of their achievements.

• Be a keen photographer (amateur or professional) with your own equipment.
• Be prepared to support our charity and share the images you take for current and future promotions.
• Understand that many events do not involve animals; focus will be on people participating in challenge events.

• Full support from the RSPCA Events Team.
• Be part of Team Animal and meet new people.
• Add the images you take to your photography portfolio.
• Receive an RSPCA t‑shirt to wear on the day.
• Volunteer in a fun and supportive environment.
• Be a vital part of ensuring the success of the challenge event.
