Job Title: Customer Finance Advisor
Hours:36.25 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm
Location: Quorum Business Park – Two days per week onsite
Salary:£23,951.00

As a Customer Finance Advisor your job will be deal with credit queries on a daily basis in regards to our instalment paying customers. Using various systems and techniques to pro-actively secure repayments of overdue balances.

To adhere to the GDPR and Business Risk appetite as well as adhering to FCA guidelines.

Ability to identify and evaluate customers who are vulnerable due to a variety of reasons including Health to Financial Hardship. Where appropriate be able to take an informed view of that person’s wellbeing and financial position.

What will I be doing?
  • Supporting our Members:Managing financial transactions between customers and The AA, ensuring accuracy and a smooth experience
  • Solving Problems:Handling telephone queries about payments and policies, providing clear guidance and reassurance
  • Using Data Effectively:Coordinating direct debit instructions and maintaining accurate records to enable seamless financial processing
  • Making a Difference:Identifying and supporting vulnerable customers, offering empathy and tailored assistance where it’s needed most
What do I need?
  • Negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and in writing
  • A good standard of computer literacy including excel spreadsheets
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work without constant supervision
  • A customer service focused approach and the ability to build a rapport with customers and internal contacts
