Service Desk Analyst – Role Description

NGC Information, Data and Estates Services are seeking to appoint a Service Desk Analyst to join our Business Services team. As part of the NCG Service Desk and reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader, you will provide excellent customer service for our staff via email and virtual support.

• Case handling for NCG services, including IT and Estates.
• Provide first and second line IT support where required.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service and build positive working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
• Make decisions within your own area of responsibility and work independently without close supervision.
• Balance a high workload with conflicting requirements, meeting tight deadlines.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm as a team player.
• Calm attitude, excellent organisational skills and a methodical, analytical approach.
• Experience of delivering high standard customer service and building relationships.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Experience of making decisions independently.
• Availability to work a 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday shift pattern.
