Learning and Development Coordinator

The Position:

We are looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join our Organisational Learning and Development team at NHS Orkney.

As the Learning and Development Coordinator, you will help:

• Support colleagues and trainers to use and navigate our Learning Management System (TURAS Learn), including finding learning resources and resolving queries
• Coordinate and schedule induction training for new starts, creating training itineraries and welcoming staff during their induction programme
• Undertake a range of administrative duties, including ordering and invoicing, electronic rostering and monitoring team inboxes
• Extract, collate and distribute reports from our Learning Management System (TURAS Learn)
• Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, answering calls and directing colleagues to the appropriate support

You will manage your own workload within agreed procedures while working closely with the wider team. The role involves frequent contact with colleagues across clinical and non-clinical services, so you will need to communicate confidently, handle information carefully and respond calmly when plans or priorities change.

This post will be based at The Balfour

The successful candidate will work:
Full Time 36 hours per week

This post is Fixed-Term for 12 months due to the substantive postholders return from secondment leave

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.
