Position: Architect - Residential (Permanent)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Architect – Residential Projects

£35,000–£42,000 | Hybrid Working | 3–5 Years’ Experience

A highly respected architectural practice is looking to appoint an Architect to join their residential-focused team. With approximately 75% of the workload dedicated to housing, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an Architect seeking long-term career progression within a supportive and well-established studio.

The Role

You will work across a range of residential projects, contributing from design development through to project delivery. The role offers exposure to multiple RIBA stages and the chance to take on increasing responsibility as you progress.

Key Responsibilities

Work on residential-led projects across multiple RIBA stages.

Produce high-quality architectural and technical drawings.

Assist with project coordination and delivery.

Develop designs using AutoCAD and Revit.

Collaborate closely with internal teams and external consultants.

Experience & Skills Required

3–5 years’ experience working as an Architect or recently qualified

Strong residential project experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

Solid technical knowledge and understanding of UK building regulations

Ambitious, collaborative, and keen to progress

Salary & Working Arrangements

Salary: £35,000–£42,000, dependent on experience.

Hybrid working: 1 day per week from home.

Office attendance required on Mondays and Fridays for team meetings.

Working hours:

8:30am – 4:45pm.

Holiday entitlement: 21.5 days, rising to 26 days after 5 years.
