This post is to commence as soon as possible until 2 February 2027. 40 hours per week no on-call.
Candidates should be nearing the end of their specialist training in cardiology, be proficient in coronary angiography and have solid proficiency in coronary interventions.

Main duties of the jobThis post is an opportunity to gain experience in interventional cardiology in a high volume UK centre including primary PCI service. This post would be suitable for a candidate post-CCT in cardiology, or with equivalent experience, aiming for appointment as a consultant specialising in interventional cardiology. The appointee would gain a large volume of practical experience in percutaneous coronary intervention including PPCI, IVUS, rotational atherectomy, pressure wire assessment, laser catheters, percutaneous treatment for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and transcutaneous aortic and mitral valves intervention.
