History Teacher. Education & Training

History, a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons for History.

• Plan and deliver creative, high-quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Teach across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students are supported and challenged.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain excellent classroom management to promote a positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to contribute to the school's continued success.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching History within a secondary school setting (preferred).
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A proactive, reliable, and professional approach.
