Calling all inspiring educators! We’re looking for a dedicated SEND teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming school in the centre of Newcastle.

This primary school in Newcastle provides a warm, supportive environment with good transport links, onsite parking, and a welcoming community.

About the Role

As a KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant
, you’ll be a vital part of a close-knit team in a welcoming primary school in central Newcastle. You’ll be supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them navigate their learning journey with confidence and positivity.

Core hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30

  • You understand that progress looks different for every child
    .
  • You have experience working with people with SEND.
  • You can engage with children, parents, and staff alike, making everyone feel supported.
  • You think on your feet and have excellent communication skills
    .
  • Passionate about helping SEND children reach their full potential.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
