About the RoleAs a KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant
, you’ll be a vital part of a close-knit team in a welcoming primary school in central Newcastle. You’ll be supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them navigate their learning journey with confidence and positivity.
Core hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30
- You understand that progress looks different for every child
. - You have experience working with people with SEND.
- You can engage with children, parents, and staff alike, making everyone feel supported.
- You think on your feet and have excellent communication skills
. - Passionate about helping SEND children reach their full potential.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
