Hours:

8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

A friendly and inclusive primary school based in the Arthur's Hill area of Newcastle is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic unqualified Early Years Assistant to join their supportive Early Years team.

• Supporting the Nursery and/or Reception Teacher with daily classroom activities and observations
• Helping to maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with play-based learning, structured sessions and daily routines, including personal care where required
• Working closely with staff as part of a supportive school team

The successful candidate will:

• Be caring, enthusiastic and committed to supporting young children
• Have strong communication skills and work well as part of a team
• Show a genuine interest in early years education and child development
• Be keen to gain experience and develop within a primary school setting

• The opportunity to work within a welcoming primary school in the Arthur's Hill community
• Hands-on experience within an Early Years setting
• Access to CPD training and ongoing professional development
• Support from experienced education professionals
