Food Technology Teacher

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient teacher to deliver Design & Technology and Food Technology lessons to small groups of pupils. You will work with students who have SEN, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour, providing structured, practical, and engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on DT and Food Technology lessons

• Work effectively with pupils with SEN and SEMH needs

• Create a calm, structured classroom environment with clear boundaries

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and positive learning culture

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

The Ideal Candidate

• Calm, confident, and resilient in challenging situations

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Experience working with SEN/SEMH pupils

• Passionate about practical learning and pupil progress
