As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant
, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with Maths and build confidence in their learning. The school is keen to appoint a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners.

Supporting pupils with Maths learning aligned to the national curriculum.

Working one-to-one or in small groups as a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant
.

Supporting and managing behaviour in a calm and consistent manner.

Assisting the class teacher to deliver engaging Maths activities.

Adapting learning resources to meet individual SEMH needs.

Promoting independence, resilience, and positive life skills as a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant
.

Providing a high standard of safeguarding and pastoral care in the Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant role.

Be available to work Monday to Friday.

Hold a degree in Maths or a related subject.

Be proactive, resilient, kind, and caring.

Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
