GSL Education are seeking a patient, dedicated, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive school community in Newcastle

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with a range of additional needs.
• Assist with implementing personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies.
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to deliver targeted support.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
• Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care settings).
• Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
• Ability to build positive relationships and adapt to individual needs.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to helping learners succeed.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
