Job Purpose:The Head of Delivery role is to manage the day-to-day operations in the faculty. To support and manage tutors, contractors, policies and processes, with a particular focus on quality, improvements and qualifications. To be the go-to person for faculty queries and to liaise with all awarding organisations for all matters relating to quality assurance and certification of learners.
The faculty consists of CMI, CIM and CIPD programmes of study.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Manage and track learner outcomes that are relevant to the faculty including success rates, pass rates and onward destination, ensuring your faculty achieves sector-leading outcomes.
- Organise external moderation and quality assurance assessment requirements, based upon the requirements of individual awarding organisations and professional bodies.
- Ensure that all awarding organisation and professional body requirements in areas such as membership needs, delivery updates and assessment calendars are kept up to date.
- Manage the logistical requirements of assessment submissions, internal quality assurance, and moderation of learner portfolios, assessment papers, and examinations.
- Co-ordinate the caseloads and quality of work of a team of tutors and assessors in order to maintain high quality teaching provision leading to high student success rates.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with the most important stakeholders of all, our students, by teaching and managing teaching and learning processes for the full learner journey.
- Direct involvement in the teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance processes, ensuring they support both Awarding Organisation requirements and a ‘best in class’ learner experience.
- Lead and manage standardisation meetings, professional development sessions, and regular faculty meetings with the team of associate assessors.
- Represent the Faculty at internal and External Quality Assurance meetings with awarding organisations, for example, Curriculum Area Moderator Reviews, Centre Review meetings and External Quality Assurance meetings.
- Assist in the recruitment of staff.
- Direct line management of contractors and full-time tutors.
- Where practical, delivery of the initial training and on-going development of team members.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of required policies, processes and practices.
- Raise Purchase Orders in a timely manner, as required, ensuring adhesion to company processes and to ensure learner progress is maintained.
- Liaise with a range of internal professionals on a day-to-day basis, including the Assistant Director of Director, Registration and Certification Team, and Head of Quality to ensure sharing of information and updates regarding the faculty and the professional bodies it works with.
- Liaise with a range of external professionals as relevant to the faculty, including the development of new mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Uphold all company Policies and Procedures, for example, Safeguarding, Equality, Inclusion and diversity, Health and safety, Quality Assurance, Conflict of Interest.
- Plan, uphold, and continuously develop rigorous standards across the faculty in terms of teaching practice and faculty management.
- Create, manage and upkeep tutor and IQA accounts in Atom and Pearl.
- Monitor and manage assessment marking and IQA budget for contractors.
- Write content when required and competent to do so.
- Assist in continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure website content relating to course material is accurate and up to date and disseminate changes to relevant departments such as content, marketing, and sales.
- Ensure that all course details are relevant and up to date.
- Contribute to the launch of new qualifications and operational plans for the delivery of these.
- Lead on IQA requirements for all qualifications.
- Liaise with all awarding organisation to foster excellent working relationships.
- Ensure awarding organisation accreditation is maintained.
- Ensure direct claims status is achieved and maintained.
- Lead on quality checks on staff and processes.
- Assist in the exam process where required.
- Support the Cert and Reg team with any queries.
- Actively share best practice with the company via company communication channels.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with the most important stakeholders of all, our students, by teaching and managing teaching and learning processes for the full learner journey.

- Deliver coaching and subject-specific surgeries to tutors and learners.
