We’re looking for adedicated and confident Cover Supervisor to join a friendly and supportive secondary school team in Newcastle. This role is perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support students with their learning and ensure work is completed
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson

No formal teaching qualification is required — just strong communication skills, confidence in leading a classroom, and the ability to build rapport with students.
