Are you experience in supporting apprentices for level 3 learners? This may be the role for you! We are seeking an Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver high-quality training for the Teaching Assistant (Level
3) and Community Health and Wellbeing (Level
3) apprenticeship standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in teaching apprenticeships, particularly in childcare or teaching assistant roles, and ideally with some healthcare experience.

Apprenticeship Trainer - Teaching Assistant & Community Health and Wellbeing
  • Part‑time: 21.6 hours per week (3 days)
  • Contract Duration:
    Until April 2026
  • Location:

    London. East
  • Working Days:
    Tuesday and Thursday, plus one additional day for marking
  • Pay up to £35ph
Day‑to‑day of the role of Apprenticeship Trainer - Teaching Assistant & Community Health and Wellbeing :
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality training sessions aligned with the apprenticeship standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and support apprentices throughout their learning journey, providing tailored guidance and feedback.
  • Conduct workplace observations/assessments and progress reviews with employers to evidence competence against standards.
  • Track learner progress, set clear targets, and maintain accurate records in line with funding and compliance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with employers to ensure apprentices apply skills effectively in their school settings.
  • Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment (EPA) through mock assessments and structured development plans.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible training.
Required

Skills & Qualifications for the Apprenticeship Trainer - Teaching Assistant & Community Health and Wellbeing:
  • PGCE/CERTED or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Must have experience teaching apprenticeships in childcare or as teaching assistants.
  • Desirable:
    Background in healthcare.
