- This role will monitor & facilitate training for the Safran Electrical & Power Pitstone Quality staff, Certifying Staff & Nominated Post Holders under the site's regulatory approvals - This role will be responsible for the issuing of the authorisations for all Operational Staff skills and the appropriate stamps, following receipt of the evidence demonstrating that the employees have the knowledge and competency required to perform their work to the appropriate level required by the business - Manage the SKILLs database for the Quality staff, Certifying Staff & Nominated Post Holders, ensuring preparation, facilitation, monitoring, refreshing of the training material / content, providing specialist insight into regulatory requirements - Develop and deliver Train the Trainer courses and audit the nominated Trainers as required Management:
- - Organize and develop training programs to meet specific training needs of the business linked to Pitstone Quality Staff, Certifying Staff & Nominated Post Holders - Manage training budget for all Pitstone Quality Staff, Certifying Staff & Nominated Post Holders - Ensure 100% of authorisations comply to the SKILLs framework - Coordinate identified training needs with the Industrial Training Lead & HR Training & Development team - Ensure Pitstone Quality Staff, Certifying Staff & Nominated Post Holders training records are accurate in the SKILLs database and manage authorisation validity periods, so as to achieve regulatory conformance - Periodically audit the SKILL process integrity to verify alignment between employee skill and evidence recorded on file - Support implementation and ongoing management of the SKILL database and looking for opportunities to improve and streamline activities - Ensure sufficient training staff to meet the training needs for the Pitstone Quality Staff, Certifying Staff & Nominated Post Holders Training:
- - Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps within identified scope - Track and report on training attendance and update the Industrial Training Lead & HR Training & Development team as appropriate - Manage and maintain in-house training material, facilities and equipment for Pitstone Quality Staff, Certifying Staff & Nominated Post Holders - Evaluate and make recommendations on new / existing training material and methodologies - Work with internal knowledge holders to establish and develop employee training needs - Identify and upskill subject matter experts regarding training instruction modules and training delivery best practices - Keep current on regulation, training material design and methodologies and ensure they are compliant to current procedures and Safran quality management system - Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching - Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness - Proven experience of training of organisations and delivering within a technical or manufacturing / maintenance regulated industry - Proven experience of delivering training using a range of methods - Knowledge of learning management systems - Knowledge of Quality methods and controls (ie ISO
9001, AS/EN9100, CAA Part 21J/G, CAA/EASA Part 145, FAA,..) or similar preferred - Train the trainer development and training of new trainers - Good planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail - Demonstrable coaching and facilitation skills - Ability to work under own initiative and adaptable to changing priorities and needs
