Position Details
22 hours per week, term time only. Applicants must be able to work flexibly Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm. Point 4, Range 4-6.

Vacancy OverviewWe have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and willing Food Technician to join us in March 2026. A knowledge of cooking would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training would be given to the right applicant. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Department to devise a timetable to cover the role across the school’s two‑week timetable.
Week A and Week B may not be structured the same and this arrangement of hours could be different each subsequent academic year. Working hours will be discussed at interview.
- Support both staff and students in a range of activities, including preparation of materials and equipment as well as demonstrations.
- Ensure that classrooms and equipment are kept clean and tidy and that all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Excellent practical and organisational skills.
- Good IT knowledge.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well alongside students and staff.
- Must be able to work flexibly Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm.
