QTS Teacher - English (Key Stage
4)

We are partnered with Local Councils, SEND teams and Schools throughout the UK to put together tailored packages which help students with special education needs to reach their full potential.

We currently have a high demand for one-to-one Tutors who have experience in delivering Key stage 4 English.

We are looking for QTS Qualified Teachers in Newcastle to support children and young people on a 1-1 basis for their GCSE English. These young people are not currently accessing mainstream education as a result of SEND, SEMH, permanent exclusion and various other reasons. As a result, we are seeking nurturing, experienced English Tutors with a patient, innovative approach and a passion for helping students to overcome barriers to their learning.

Sessions will take place face to face either in a community setting, School/Alternative Provision or at the young person's home.

• Pay rate - £30 per hour
• Up to 12 hours per week per student

• Access to CPD accredited courses and training

• Deliver one-to-one tuition in GCSE English
• Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps and student needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.
• Create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students re-build their confidence in learning.
• Complete daily attendance and weekly reports.

• QTS Qualified (Essential)
• Previous experience with GCSE Level English Teaching/Tutoring.
• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Be able to reference the last two years of education/employment
