Contract: Part-Time Fixed Term

Schedule: Thursday & Friday (Monday afternoons optional)

A welcoming primary school in Tonbridge is seeking a confident KS2 specialist teacher to join their Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for children with Autism on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a well‑established SRP within a mainstream primary setting. The role is ideal for a teacher who thrives in a structured, supportive environment and has strong experience working with children with Autism.

• Teaching 8-10 KS2 pupils within our Autism SRP
• Supported by experienced Teaching Assistants
• Working alongside another SRP class and under the guidance of a dedicated Centre Leader
• Delivering a structured, adapted curriculum tailored to pupils' individual needs
• Ensuring consistency and stability for pupils who benefit from predictable routines

• Thursday and Friday (required)
• Monday afternoons (desirable but not essential)
• From Friday 1st May until Friday 17th July

• A KS2 specialist teacher
• Proven experience working with children with Autism (essential)
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• The confidence to "hit the ground running" within an established SRP model
• Emotional resilience and the ability not to take direct or blunt communication personally
• A strong commitment to consistency, pupils require stability and continuity

While SRP or special school experience is not required, applicants must have practical experience supporting children with Autism and be able to adapt quickly to established systems and approaches.
