The Supply Register is working in partnership with Newcastle College to recruit a GCSE Maths Lecturer on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking college, supporting learners to achieve essential Maths qualifications and progress into further study or employment.

You’ll play a key role in delivering GCSE Maths, helping learners build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

• Deliver engaging GCSE Maths lessons to post‑16 learners
• Support students with varying abilities and learning needs
• Plan and deliver inclusive and effective teaching sessions
• Monitor learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Prepare learners for exams and assessments
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment

• Experience teaching Maths (GCSE level)
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Ability to engage and support post‑16 learners
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET)
• Experience with in Further Education or secondary education
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
