Person Specification Minimum Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 2 references
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification – Degree
- Experience working in a primary school
- Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
- Support the school staff to facilitate children's active participation in academic and social activities
- Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
- Implement the daily routine
- Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities in conjunction with other staff when directed
- Assist children in personal/intimate care
- Regularly evaluate children’s development and keep records as directed by the teacher
- Liaise with parents/carers only when directed by a school’s class teacher
- Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, ensuring children are supervised at all times
- Ensure provision of a high‑quality environment to meet individual children’s needs at each stage of development
- Ability to work flexibly
- Participate in training
