Person Specification Minimum Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum of 2 references
• Enhanced DBS clearance

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification – Degree
• Experience working in a primary school

• Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
• Support the school staff to facilitate children's active participation in academic and social activities
• Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
• Implement the daily routine
• Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities in conjunction with other staff when directed
• Assist children in personal/intimate care
• Regularly evaluate children’s development and keep records as directed by the teacher
• Liaise with parents/carers only when directed by a school’s class teacher
• Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, ensuring children are supervised at all times
• Ensure provision of a high‑quality environment to meet individual children’s needs at each stage of development
