We are looking for committed EYFS Practitioners/Educators in Newcastle and surrounding areas to complement our team of educators.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
- Support the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of a school
- Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
- Implement the daily routine
- When directed, plan and implement age‑appropriate activities in conjunction with other staff
- Assist children in personal/intimate care
- Regularly evaluate children’s development and keep records as appropriate, as directed by the teacher
- Liaise with parents/carers of children only when directed by a school’s class teacher
- Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, including ensuring that children are supervised at all times
- Ensure the provision of a high‑quality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 2 references
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Hold a qualification that meets the approved ‘full and relevant’ criteria for Early Years qualifications and includes staffing ratios
- Ability to work flexibly
- Participate in training
- Commitment to ensuring a safe environment for children, and thorough knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
