As an Art & Design Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that motivate learners to develop their creative skills and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities- Delivering high-quality Art & Design lessons.
- Planning and preparing engaging learning activities.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Maintaining accurate learner records.
- Promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times.
The Supply Register is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and creative Art & Design Lecturer to join Newcastle College on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer or an individual with teaching experience looking to make a real difference within Further Education.
Qualifications & experience- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or previous experience teaching Art & Design.
- Experience delivering Art & Design within a Further Education, Secondary or Higher Education setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for supporting learners and inspiring creativity.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
