An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Newcastle is looking for an enthusiastic Computing Graduate Teaching Assistant to join the team this September.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking secondary school where innovation, digital literacy and problem‑solving are embedded throughout the curriculum. You’ll work alongside experienced Computing teachers, supporting students as they develop the technical knowledge and practical skills they’ll need for further study and future careers.

£92.63 – £108.00 per day (PAYE)
Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term Opportunity
The RoleAs a Computing Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Assist students with programming, coding and computational thinking
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions
- Help students develop confidence using a range of digital technologies
- Support pupils preparing for GCSE Computing
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and practical classroom activities
- Gain first-hand experience of classroom teaching, behaviour management and student support
You’ll become part of a supportive department that is passionate about preparing students for the digital world while supporting aspiring teachers to develop their own classroom skills.
