Contract: Full-Time
Salary: £130-£251 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Newcastle from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive department that values creativity, collaboration, and high-quality teaching.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Humanities subjects
- Teach students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Monitor, assess, and support student progress and achievement
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Contribute to the wider life of the department and school community
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has previous experience teaching Humanities subjects within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for learners
