A welcoming and supportive primary school in Newcastle is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, creating an inclusive classroom environment and supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development. • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Managing behaviour effectively to promote positive learning outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality education.
• Have strong communication and organisational skills.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
• Have a fully checkable work history.

This Primary Teacher role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. All successful applicants must satisfy safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
