We are looking for a confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for a fixed term position, from September 2026 to Summer 2027. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm, 37 hours per week on a term time only basis.
ResponsibilitiesAs a cover supervisor you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, implement work programmes, manage student behaviour and assist in relevant activities in line with school policy and procedure.
You will consistently deliver high-quality learning opportunities to our students, ensuring standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement are evident at all times.
Requirements- Experience working as a Cover Supervisor or other relevant experience.
- Good general subject knowledge and ability to engage with young people.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish positive professional working relationships.
- Awareness of and commitment to safeguarding practices and behaviour management strategies.
- Great IT skills and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and using information management systems.
