Looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Further Education? This role supports across engineering provision within a well-established college, with potential to secure longer-term or permanent roles. Open to both experienced Engineering Lecturers and engineering professionals transitioning into education.

• Support learners across a range of engineering programmes, helping them develop technical knowledge and practical, hands-on skills.
• Deliver engaging lessons across Level 1–Level 3 (BTEC / T Level / Apprenticeships).
• Teach areas such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or General Engineering.
• Support practical workshop sessions and demonstrations.
• Promote safe working practices and health & safety compliance.
• Monitor learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds:

Essential:

• Experience in Engineering (teaching, training, or industry).
• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge.
• Ability to support both classroom and workshop-based learning.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible and reliable approach.

Desirable:

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET).
• Experience with in Further Education.
• Experience delivering BTEC, T Level, or apprenticeship programmes.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
