Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term Opportunity with Permanent Potential

The Role

As a Learning Mentor, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one mentoring and pastoral support to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Help students overcome social, emotional and academic barriers to learning
  • Support attendance, engagement and positive behaviour
  • Build trusting relationships that encourage confidence and resilience
  • Work closely with teachers, Heads of Year, the SEND team and families
  • Deliver targeted interventions to improve wellbeing, motivation and progress
  • Encourage students to develop independence, self-belief and positive attitudes towards learning

We're Looking For
  • Experience working with young people in education, youth work, mentoring, coaching or care
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Calm, resilient and empathetic individuals
  • Confident professionals who can motivate and inspire students
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential

Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Education, Childhood Studies or related subjects are particularly encouraged to apply.
