Protocol Education is recruiting motivated Criminology graduates to support students in secondary schools across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland
.

£92.63 – £108.00 per day (PAYE)

The Role

As a Criminology Graduate, you could work as a:

  • Behaviour Support Assistant
  • Learning Mentor
  • Pastoral Support Assistant
  • SEMH Support Assistant
  • SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Inclusion Support Assistant
  • Student Intervention Mentor

You’ll gain invaluable experience by:

  • Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis
  • Helping young people regulate emotions and make positive choices
  • Working with students with SEMH needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs
  • Supporting behaviour management using positive and restorative approaches
  • Building trusting relationships that encourage confidence, resilience and engagement
  • Working alongside teachers, pastoral teams and SEND professionals

We’re Looking For
  • A degree in Criminology (or a related subject)
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
