Physics World offers a PhD studentship starting October 2026 to explore FLASH Radiotherapy, delivering high doses in sub-second timescales. The project will focus on focused dose delivery in water phantoms and anatomical phantoms, using ELEGANT and TOPAS, with CLARA experiments and potential LTA at SLAC/Stanford.
The student will be based at the Cockcroft Institute or the University of Manchester, engaging in analytical, simulation and experimental work, with full training and development
