KS2 Primary Teacher (Full time, Temporary) Newcastle £670 - £1190 (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) September 2026 – December 2026 The School and Role

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and nurturing part-time Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Newcastle Upon Tyne on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing hight quality teaching and learning within KS2. You will play a key role in supporting pupils through this important transition year, helping them to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in KS2, ideally year 6
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment
• Create an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Work as part of a collaborative and caring team
• Show enthusiasm, creativity and excellent classroom management skills
