A welcoming and supportive school in Newcastle is seeking a passionate and committed QTS Teacher to join their team. This QTS Teacher role is ideal for an enthusiastic and qualified teacher who is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

The successful QTS Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. As a QTS Teacher, you will use effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs.

Key Responsibilities of the QTS Teacher
  • Planning and delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.
  • Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
  • Participating in wider school activities and maintaining high professional standards.
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
The Ideal QTS Teacher Will
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
  • Have previous teaching experience within a UK school setting.
  • Have strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
  • Be confident planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be adaptable, organised and committed to achieving positive outcomes for pupils.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
  • Have a fully checkable work history.
