We are currently recruiting on behalf of Secondary schools looking for Cover Supervisors in Alnwick to support pupils across KS3, KS4 and KS5 . Your role will be focused on maintaining excellent classroom behaviour and supporting students across a range of subjects.

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
• Managing behaviourswithin the classroom and building positive relationships with the pupils, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.
• Identifying pupils who might be struggling and providing additional support where required and keeping an accurate up to date record on all progress
• Working collaboratively with other teaching and support staff.

• Pay:
  Between £15-17 per hour
• Hours:
  
  8:30am – 15:30pm, Monday – Friday
• Contract:
  
  Full time, temporary with the potential of going permanent

  Newcastle

• Experience in a similar role or setting, ideally within a school environment
• QTS or PGCE desired
• Confident working within a group setting
• An ability to build healthy relationships with pupils and staff
• Kind, positive and proactive nature
• Right to work in the UK
• Hold an updated DBS certificate on the update service or the willingness to process a new application
• Professional child or care-related references covering the last two years
