Protocol Education is working with SEN schools across Gateshead and Newcastle to recruit Psychology Graduates for Teaching Assistant positions starting in September.

What You'll Do

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping pupils feel safe, supported and able to access education.

You’ll be involved in:

  • 1:1 pupil support
  • Small-group interventions
  • Supporting children with Autism and ADHD
  • Emotional regulation strategies
  • Behaviour support
  • Classroom learning
  • Communication development
  • Building pupil confidence
  • Working alongside teachers and SENCOs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
