Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in West Denton, Newcastle
. The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs who benefit from smaller class sizes, structured routines and a relationship-focused approach to learning.
This rewarding role is centred around building positive connections, providing consistency and helping pupils overcome barriers that may be impacting their education.

Previous experience in education, care, youth work, residential support or behaviour support would be highly beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
