Protocol Education is working with a successful secondary school in North Tyneside to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving English department and inspire students to develop a love of reading, writing and literature.

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver creative lessons that challenge and support all learners.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively.
• Promote high expectations and positive learning behaviours.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
• Foster a love of language, literature and communication.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive excellent outcomes.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for raising attainment and inspiring young people.
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
