Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Looking for a role where you can make a real difference every week? We’re seeking a calm, compassionate, and experienced SEND support professional to join a friendly KS1 classroom in Westerhope. You’ll be working 1:1 with amazing 7-year-old pupils with autism and global developmental delay.

What you’ll be doing :

Providing dedicated 1:1 support to help pupils engage with learning

Collaborating with the class teacher and SEND team to deliver personalised learning

Supporting social, emotional, and communication development

Helping create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment

What we’re looking for:

Experience working with children with autism and additional needs

Patience, empathy, and a steady presence in the classroom

Ability to adapt quickly and provide consistent support
