North East/ temporary / £180 - 220 per day

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne who are looking to appoint a General Cover Teacher. The school is looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can provide consistent classroom support across a range of subjects.

The school is looking to take on a General Cover Teacher on a temporary basis, with the successful candidate delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4. The General Cover Teacher can come from any subject specialism but must be confident managing different classes, maintaining positive behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.

The successful General Cover Teacher will have:

QTS
Experience teaching within a secondary school environment
Confidence delivering lessons outside of your subject specialism
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong communication and organisational skills
An adaptable and positive approach to teaching
