Deputy Headteacher

Deputy Headteacher post at St Joseph and St Bede RC Primary School, part of St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust, supporting the Headteacher. The core work is leading and managing staff, driving school improvement and keeping the setting safe, while contributing to the Trust's strategy. The post sits within a growing group of Catholic academies across Greater Manchester. An enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required;

• Support the Headteacher in providing leadership across the school
• Ensure pupils receive an outstanding education

• Senior management and leadership experience
• Proven experience of leading and managing staff

• Confident communicator with excellent written and oral skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly proficient in ICT systems
• Works well under pressure, with accuracy, attention to detail and tight deadlines
• Flexible approach to working patterns

• Enhanced DBS check including children's barred list check
