Trust Attendance Lead

The Trust Attendance Lead drives attendance strategy across the 40 primary, secondary and special schools run by Unity Schools Partnership in East Anglia and north-east London. The work centres on using data to set priorities, quality assuring practice and supporting and challenging leaders in schools and the Trust. It is a permanent, hybrid post with regular office attendance and travel to schools.

Enhanced DBS clearance and the right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

• Shape and deliver the Trust-wide attendance strategy
• Use data and evidence to identify priorities and trends in attendance
• Quality assure attendance practice across schools
• Provide expert support and challenge to school and Trust leaders
• Build leadership capacity in schools
• Strengthen attendance systems
• Embed effective attendance practice consistently across the Trust's schools

• Experience working with school and Trust leaders to deliver improvement across multiple settings

• Strategic analysis of complex information and turning data into action and impact
• Sound judgement, resilience and building effective relationships while maintaining professional challenge
• Strong understanding of attendance, safeguarding, inclusion, SEND and wider factors affecting pupil engagement
• Professional judgement, discretion and commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders
