Our UK Graduate Programme is designed to catapult you into a thriving career, offering unparalleled opportunities for growth, learning, and success. Join Amentum in September 2026 and help us create a secure and vibrant future.

If you are passionate about solving real‑world problems through ingenuity and technology, join our 400‑strong team of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation engineers. You will be working on projects across our Energy, Environment, Defence and Technology divisions to solve the most pressing problems that our society faces.

As part of your team, you will be actively involved in all stages of the project life‑cycle: establishing a set of client requirements, developing a concept, basic and detailed design (which can include producing drawings, calculations and design documentation), research, procurement of equipment, testing, installation and commissioning.

We are actively involved in nuclear new build, design of the next generation of nuclear reactors (both fission and fusion), support of the UK operational nuclear fleet, nuclear decommissioning, and nuclear propulsion.

Why Join Us?
  • Exciting Projects: Work with a diverse team of experts from across the UK and beyond to gain insights into our markets and clients.
  • Comprehensive Training: Benefit from a structured development programme that covers everything from discipline‑specific skills and professional registration to personal development.
  • Mentorship: Receive guidance from seasoned professionals who are dedicated to helping you achieve your career goals.
