Join Stantec and step into a pivotal role within our growing Water Business, where your Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (EICA) expertise will directly support the delivery of essential infrastructure across the South of England. With the current regulatory cycle (AMP8) driving significant investment and innovation, this is your opportunity to lead complex EICA design work that creates a tangible, positive impact.
Challengeand Your Role
- Lead the development of robust EICA solutions, including Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, and Network Infrastructure Diagrams.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure integrated multidisciplinary outputs.
- Guide the design process from initial optioneering and feasibility studies through to detailed design and commissioning support.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor junior engineers.
- Chartered or Incorporated Electrical Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Proven background in EICA engineering design, including technical documentation, control philosophies, specifications, and detailed schedules.
- Strong communication skills to present complex technical concepts.
- Experience in the Water sector highly valued; solid background in energy, infrastructure, or environmental engineering also welcome.
