Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer

Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer – RSK Geosciences, Newcastle, UK – Full-time, permanent position.

RSK Geosciences are recruiting a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join the Geosciences team based in Newcastle, UK. This role provides consultancy and design services to clients across engineering, house-builders, oil companies and local authorities. The role offers continuous professional development and career growth opportunities.

• Participating in a variety of geo-environmental projects for external clients and internal teams within RSK;
• Assisting with ground investigations and desk studies;
• Soil logging to current UK standards, including laboratory scheduling;
• Writing factual and interpretative reports;
• Geotechnical reporting requirements beneficial;
• Preparing factual site investigation data;
• Travel to other offices and sites within the UK (as needed).

• Hold a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree in geology, geophysics, surveying or geosciences;
• Clear communicator, outgoing and a team player;
• Happy to be challenged by demanding site work, and the technical interpretation and reporting of site data;
• Looking to work for the UK’s leading geoscience consultancy/contractor.
