A UK market leader in hazardous and specialist waste is seeking a Technical Assessor to join their experienced team. Working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary group, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring waste is correctly assessed, routed, and handled in line with regulations—all while supporting a cleaner, greener future.

Use your chemistry qualifications, waste management knowledge, and problem-solving mindset to take on this rewarding challenge.

• Reviewing waste enquiries and ensuring full compliance with WM3 and site-specific protocols.
• Liaising with internal and external labs for sample analysis and waste acceptance.
• Recommending disposal routes and ensuring alignment with permits and waste licenses.
• Communicating effectively across sales, operations, and transport teams.
• Resolving non-conformances and supporting smooth customer service and logistics coordination.

• HNC in Chemistry or related field (essential)
• Experience with hazardous waste (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
