Coatings Technician – Integrity Management Office, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Key responsibilities include delivering coatings and other environmental services, participating in commercial and R&D projects, performing inspections, surveys and investigations on client assets, desk and laboratory‑based analysis, and collaborating with engineering colleagues.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in field roles
• NACE / BGaS / Icorr Coatings certification at minimum Level 2
• Extensive experience in performing in‑field coating evaluation surveys
• Knowledge of relevant UK and international codes, standards and best practices relating to coatings protection and inspection
• Willingness to work regularly (>60%) away from home, primarily UK sites with some international projects
• Ability to work closely and effectively with internal and external clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to develop knowledge in pipeline integrity and field verification inspections and surveys
• Competence in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems/software
• Commitment to delivering quality work and growing the business

• Full‑time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) based at the Test Facility in Newcastle upon Tyne
