EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOWWe’re proud of our compliance and environmental performance with 5 years of zero non-conformances in our annual BAS audit and contributing to Severn Trent’s 4 star EPA rating from the Environment Agency for a record 6 years.
As a Farm Liaison Officer (FLO), you’ll be at the heart of our biosolids operation, acting as the key link between Severn Trent, our customers, and the agricultural community.
You’ll coordinate the sustainable and cost-effective recycling operation of biosolids and related waste streams, ensuring excellent customer service with our farming customers while managing environmental, health and safety, and compliance requirements.
Working closely with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders, you’ll build strong relationships, promote the benefits of biosolids, and help optimise operations to maximise efficiency and value.
This is a varied, field-based role where you’ll play a vital part in developing the agricultural land bank we recycle to, supporting long-term recycling solutions, and strengthening our presence across the agricultural sector.
These two Farm Liaison Officer roles will have slightly different focuses: one will be aligned to a defined geographical area, which will wither be Worcestershire & Shropshire or Warwickshire. The second role will take on a broader, business development focus across the wider Severn Trent region and surrounding areas.
In this role, you’ll support marketing activity, attend agricultural shows, and proactively identify and engage new customers through on-site visits and outreach, working closely with the communications team and regional FLOs. This position will require flexibility to support different regions as needed, along with regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
